Gackt, like Gerard Way, has a history with having supernatural experiences; however his are very different & far more extreme than Gerard's. Unlike Gerard, Gackt had at one time been able to talk with the dead. This lead his parents to putting him in an institution for a while. Though, since then, his experiences aren't to such an extreme.Gackt is a former member of the band Malice Mizer. In 1999, he began his solo career with the release of his first single Mizerable. Before being in Malice Mizer, he was in a small band known as CAIN'S FEEL.
He can speak a number of languages because he doesn't like having a translator. He feels they might not translate things the way he wants them to, which is why he knows English/American, French, Madarin, Chinese, and Korean--and maybe even a few others. Some of his hobbies are golf, billiards, and martial arts. Gackt can play all brass intruments, violin, guitar, paino, and the list can probably go on and on. He has a dog named Belle Constantine Chappi and a cat named Mei--both of which are female.
Gackt is indeed a perfectionist. If he sees you do something better than him, he'll drive himself to get better than you in a short period of time. He's always willing to try anything once, even if/when it makes him look like a complete fool. Even though he is extremely talented, he never seems to take himself seriously. He tries not to laugh or smile too much, but you can always find many pictures of him doing so; not to mention he says some of the funniest things--sometimes without having the intention to do so.

Why I picked him for TOWCOH...
I picked Gackt for TOWCOH because Gackt was the first obsession I had when it comes to real people. I'd always had an obsession with bishounen from anime....Like 30 bishies, and no real guy...I don't count Eminem because I never researched him for fun in my free time. To me, Slim Shady was just a hott white guy with a sexy body. Gackt is the first real obsession. His lyrics are amazingly deep, and make you love his music for the lyrics, not the sound. His songs are just full of love and care. That's why my girly side still loves Gackt a lot. He knows how to get the ladies in a nice way. Haha. Even though this obsession was quick compared to the Hiei one, it was worth while. He has great music vids, and a great bod....And isn't afraid to be in nude commercials. You show that tush.... XD
